A Bigi consumer, Ismael Sadjo, from Cross River State, has emerged as the winner of the Bigi Abeokuta 10km road race which was held at the ancient city on Saturday, November 13th, 2021. He went home with the grand prize of Two Thousand Dollars.
Sadjo applauded Bigi for making his victory a refreshing one. “Bigi water is the best drinking water,” he said. Sadjo further revealed that the refreshing nature of the water helped stabilize his heartbeat during the race and gave him more energy to finish strong.

The premium table water provided moments of refreshment and hydration for runners, sports lovers, guests and indigenes at the race.
It also provided water points at intervals during the 10km road race. As such, there were surplus bottles of the fantastically refreshing table water for the road for all runners, guests and indigenes who flooded the ancient city to experience the fun.

Stephen Joseph from Plateau State emerged second with a finishing time of 31:47:82, coming closely behind Sadjo with 31:03:81. He took home the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars. Emmanuel Gyang emerged third at the arrival of 32:15:00 and won the sum of One Thousand Dollars.
In the female category, Rose Akusho came first at the arrival of 36:33:30, followed by Vera Yohanna at the arrival of 37:10:17 while Patience Dalyop emerged third at the arrival of 37:4:02. All-female winners are from Plateau State.
