This is an initiative of the Nigerian Breweries Plc – Felix Ohiwerei Education Trust Fund. It was conceived in 2015 to identify, showcase and reward outstanding teachers in Nigeria.
So far, we have four overall winners and more than 95 state champions
The brief was to use PR to amplify the event and ensure there is massive participation annually
Our major task was to engage relevant stakeholders through ‘trado-digital’ tools to deepen the conversation already generated.
Also, to sustain a robust conversation, agency introduced an intellectual perspective to the initiative.
We brought stakeholders from various education sectors annually to look at the problems facing teachers in the country.
Agency engaged a popular comedian to produce a video skit, which went viral immediately with multiple views and shares. We also had entries from all the 36 states and the FCT.
There has been huge participation from all over the country
